Bird Watching Tour

SUMMARY

The incredible diversity of the flora and fauna of the Amazon rainforest makes it a paradise for those who enjoy bird watching. This is a pleasure or pastime as old as man himself, and since prehistoric ties, man has registered on cave walls the birds he watched and hunted.   Of the 9700 species of birds cataloged worldwide, 1677 can be found in Brazil, and 700 of these in the Amazon. Our standard bird-watching tour is 5 day 4 nights, but it is highly customizable. The accommodation will be arranged at jungle lodges, with sighting tours both in the morning and in the afternoon. Though birds will be what we focus on, you are highly likely to encounter many other wildlife such as sloths, monkeys, pink river dolphins and caimans. Bring your binoculars and powerful cameras.  And don’t forget the unforgettable Amazon sunrise and sunset, no better place to watch them over the glassy waters of the Amazon river. We will host you with 3 authentic local meals a day, air-conditioned rooms and mineral waters.
