The lodge, Pousada Dreamland, is 150 kilometers away. Transportation will be by car on the paved BR174 but stops and lunch will be arranged to see some of the 150 waterfalls along the route.&nbsp; The final section of travel will be completed by boat for arrival at the lodge around 15:00 or 16:00. Relax at the lodge by swimming in the Amazon river or explore around the land with our welcoming drink, caipirinha, also known as the Brazilian national drink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 2<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Wake up to enjoy a delicious Amazonian breakfast before we set off on a jungle trek at 8:00. Our experience guide will be giving you an up-close introduction to the Amazon fauna and flora. Edible or medicinal plants will be introduced.&nbsp; It will be a great opportunity to sight monkeys, sloths, snakes, tarantula and poison dart frogs. We will return to the lodge around noon for lunch and relax at the lodge until 15:00. We will then travel by boat to explore the Amazon by river and search for pink river dolphins, blue or red macaws, toucans and more. We will finish the day with the most amazing sunset on the river before returning to the lodge for dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 3<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>After breakfast at around 8:00, we will start the day with another boat tour to continue our search for wildlife, such as giant otters and caimans. We will return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation at noon. At 15:00, we will embark on the afternoon adventure including piranha fishing. We will again finish the day with sunset on the river because you will never have enough of the view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 4<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>After breakfast, we will visit a local community to show you the way the locals live, such as how they harvest and prepare food the traditional way. We will have lunch at the lodge around noon and relax at the lodge till 15:00. Then we will set off with a hike to the jungle camp site and establish hammocks and mosquito nets for sleeping. We will cook dinner over open campfire with stargazing and storytelling. We will listen to the jungle as it comes to life at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DAY 5<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>After breakfast by the campfire and jungle coffee, we will trek to a beach by the river on the other end of the property. We will always be looking out for wildlife along the way. When we arrive, we will go for a refreshing swim in the water. We will return to the lodge for lunch and we will start our return journey by car to Manaus at around 1pm.&nbsp; We anticipate hotel drop off at around 5 pm.
